## VOD availability

Whether you can play a VOD depends on your plan:

| Plan | When a VOD becomes watchable |
| --- | --- |
| Free | Not available. Clips and highlights are still free to watch. |
| Basic | 24 hours after the VOD is published. |
| Standard, Premium | As soon as the VOD is published. |

When a VOD isn't available to you yet, the video page shows when it will be, with an option to upgrade and watch now. See [Plans](/billing).

## The player

- **Theater mode** widens the player. Your choice and volume are remembered in this browser.
- **Chapters** mark each point where the broadcast title changed. Turn on **Sync to video** to follow along as it plays.
- **Seek previews** show a thumbnail when you hover over the progress bar.
- **Playback speed** is in the player settings.
- **Recorded ranges.** If part of the broadcast was not recorded, the details show the missing ranges as **Not recorded**. See [Why a VOD can have gaps](/how-streaminz-works#why-a-vod-can-have-gaps).

## Resume where you left off

When you're signed in, Streaminz saves your playback position as you watch. Video cards show a progress bar, and the video picks up where you stopped. Your watches are listed in [History](/watch/library#history).

## Age-restricted content

Some broadcasts are flagged by their platform as mature. Their posters and previews are blurred by default. When you open one, Streaminz asks you to confirm your age:

- **Allow this time** reveals only this video.
- **Always allow** stops blurring age-restricted content for your account.

## Ads

Free and Basic accounts may see ads. Standard and Premium are ad-free everywhere on Streaminz.
