**Effective September 25, 2026** · [Version history](#version-history)

This Privacy Policy explains how Verchase, Ltd. (“**Verchase**,” “**we**,” “**us**,” or “**our**”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use Streaminz and its related websites, applications, and services (the “**Service**”), and the rights you have over it. Words defined in our [Terms of Service](/legal/terms-of-service) have the same meaning here.

In short:

- We collect what we need to run your account, the archive, billing, and security.
- We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- We do not store full card numbers; our payment processor handles them.
- You can access, correct, export, and delete your information by contacting us.

If you live in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or a U.S. state with a consumer privacy law, please also read the matching part of “Regional disclosures” below.

## 1. Who is responsible for your information [#controller]

Verchase, Ltd., a company incorporated in the State of Delaware, United States of America, is the controller of personal information processed through the Service.

- Contact: [contact@streaminz.io](mailto:contact@streaminz.io) or the support center available in the Service

## 2. Information we collect [#information-we-collect]

### Information you give us

- **Account information:** your email address, username, and profile image, and your preferences such as language, time zone, age-restricted content setting, and notification settings.
- **Third-party sign-in:** if you sign in with Google, Twitch, or Discord, we receive from that provider your email address, whether it is verified, and your profile image, which we may import as your Streaminz profile image. We do not receive your password for those services.
- **Your activity and content:** channels you follow and whether you get notifications for them, likes and dislikes, bookmarks, playlists, comments and reactions, clips and highlights you create, reports you submit, and the channels you assign boosts to.
- **Payment and billing information:** your plan, add-ons, billing cycle, invoices, and payment history; your credit balance and credit transactions; redeem codes you use; and, if you cancel, the reason and comment you give. Card details are entered directly with our payment processor, Stripe. We receive a customer identifier and a summary of your payment method: its type, card brand, last four digits, expiry date, funding type, issuing country, issuer, and wallet type. We never receive or store your full card number or security code.
- **Communications:** messages you send us by email or through the support center, along with the name and email address attached to them, and your responses to any surveys.

### Information collected automatically

- **Viewing activity:** the videos you watch, your playback position, how much of a video you have watched, and whether you downloaded it. This powers your watch history, resume playback, view counts, and recommendations. When you watch without signing in, we count views using a one-way SHA-256 hash of your IP address and do not store the IP address itself for that purpose.
- **Security and audit information:** when you sign in, verify an email address, or take certain sensitive actions, we record your IP address, the approximate location derived from it (country, city, and network operator), your browser and device type (user agent), and the time. We derive location using an IP geolocation database that runs on our own servers. We use this to protect your account, for example to send you new sign-in alerts.
- **Session information:** when your sessions were created, last used, and expire.
- **Push notification subscriptions:** if you enable browser push notifications, the push endpoint and encryption keys your browser gives us, and your browser’s user agent.
- **Log information:** our servers log technical information such as IP address, request time, requested page, and errors to operate and secure the Service.
- **Browser storage:** see “Cookies and similar technologies” below.

### Information from broadcasts and Platforms

To provide the archive, we collect publicly available information from the Platforms, including channel names, identifiers, and profile images, broadcast titles, categories, start and end times, viewer counts, and age-restriction flags, and we record the broadcasts themselves. Broadcasts may include the image, voice, and statements of broadcasters and of anyone else who appears in them. See “Broadcasters and other people in broadcasts” below.

### Information from other sources

We may receive information about you from our payment processor (for example, whether a payment succeeded) and from other users (for example, a report about your comment).

## 3. How we use information [#how-we-use]

We use personal information to:

- **provide the Service:** create and manage your account, sign you in, record and play broadcasts, keep your library, history, and preferences, process clips and highlights, and deliver the features of your plan;
- **process payments:** charge your plan and add-ons, apply credits and redeem codes, issue invoices and refunds, and handle billing problems;
- **communicate with you:** send sign-in codes, security alerts, receipts, renewal reminders, service announcements, notices of changes to our terms and policies, and the notifications you choose to receive, and respond to your requests;
- **keep the Service safe:** prevent and detect fraud, abuse, spam, unauthorized access, and violations of our Terms, including through captcha checks and by blocking disposable email addresses, and review reports;
- **improve the Service:** understand how features are used, fix bugs, measure performance, rank related videos and trends, and develop new features, using aggregated or de-identified data where possible;
- **comply with the law:** keep records required by tax, accounting, and consumer protection law, respond to lawful requests, and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

We do not use your information to make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal effects on you or similarly significantly affect you. If we introduce such processing, we will update this policy and tell you about your rights.

Some plans may display advertisements. Today, we do not use third-party advertising networks or advertising cookies. If we start using advertising partners that collect personal information, we will update this policy and give advance notice before doing so.

## 4. How we share information [#sharing]

We do not sell personal information. We share it only as described below.

- **With other users and the public:** your username and profile image, and content you post publicly, such as comments, clips, and highlights, are visible to others.
- **With service providers** who process information on our behalf under contract and only for the purposes we specify, including:
  - Stripe, Inc. (payment processing);
  - Zoho Corporation (ZeptoMail; sending email);
  - Cloudflare, Inc. (Turnstile; bot and abuse prevention on sign-in and other forms);
  - the push services operated by your browser vendor, such as Google, Mozilla, Apple, or Microsoft (delivering push notifications, which are end-to-end encrypted); and
  - cloud infrastructure and hosting providers that run our servers and storage.
- **With sign-in providers** you choose to use, as part of the sign-in process.
- **For legal reasons:** when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, regulation, legal process, or an enforceable government request, or is necessary to prevent serious harm to a person, to detect or address fraud or security issues, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Verchase, our users, broadcasters, or others. Where permitted, we will try to notify you first.
- **In a business transfer:** if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you, and where the law requires, give you a chance to object.
- **With your consent** or at your direction.
- **Aggregated or de-identified information** that cannot reasonably be used to identify you, for example public view counts and statistics.

## 5. Cookies and similar technologies [#cookies]

We use a small number of cookies and browser storage entries that are necessary for the Service to work or that remember your choices. We do not use them for advertising or cross-site tracking.

| Name | Type | Purpose |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `token` | Local storage | Keeps you signed in. |
| `locale` | Cookie | Remembers your language. |
| `timeZone`, `localTimeZone` | Cookie | Shows dates and times in the time zone you chose. |
| `volume`, `theater` | Local storage | Remembers player volume and layout. |
| `pendingSubscription` | Local storage | Remembers the plan you chose while you add a payment method. |
| Notice dismissals | Local storage | Remembers which announcements you closed. |

Cloudflare Turnstile may use its own cookies or device signals to tell people from bots when it runs on a form, and the support center widget stores what it needs to keep your conversation. You can clear or block cookies and site data in your browser settings, but the Service may not work properly without them.

## 6. How long we keep information [#retention]

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, and then delete or anonymize it. In particular:

- **Account information, activity, preferences, watch history, and sessions:** while your account exists.
- **Sign-in and email verification codes:** until they expire or are used. Records of successful verification attempts are deleted after 30 days. Records of failed attempts are kept as long as needed to detect and prevent abuse.
- **Notifications:** archived after a period and then deleted.
- **Invoices, payment records, and credit transactions:** for the periods required by tax, accounting, and consumer protection law, even after your account is closed.
- **Support communications:** as long as needed to resolve your request and any related dispute.

When you close your account, we delete your account and the information linked to it, including your comments, reactions, likes, bookmarks, playlists, follows, notifications, push subscriptions, and credit balance, except information we must keep by law or to resolve disputes, which we keep separately and only for as long as required. Copies in backups are deleted on their normal schedule.

## 7. How we protect information [#security]

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit (TLS), passwordless sign-in with one-time codes, access controls that limit who can reach personal information, security alerts for new sign-ins, and hashing of identifiers where the raw value is not needed. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If a personal information breach occurs that affects you, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

## 8. Your rights and choices [#your-rights]

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

- access the personal information we hold about you and receive a copy of it;
- receive it in a portable format, or have it transferred to another service;
- correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
- delete your information or close your account;
- restrict or object to certain processing, including processing based on legitimate interests;
- withdraw consent where we rely on it, without affecting processing that happened before; and
- not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

You can do many things yourself in the Service: edit your profile, change your email address, delete comments, playlists, and other content, clear or manage your history, and control in-app, email, and push notifications by category. Emails about payments and sign-ins are always sent because they are needed to secure your account and process payments. You can turn off browser push notifications at any time in the Service or your browser.

To exercise any other right, contact us at [contact@streaminz.io](mailto:contact@streaminz.io) or through the support center. We may need to verify your identity, for example by confirming that you control the email address on your account. You may use an authorized agent or legal representative; we will ask for proof of their authority. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. If we decline your request, we will explain why, and you may appeal by replying to our decision.

## 9. Where we store information [#data-location]

We store personal information on servers located in the United States. If you use the Service from outside the United States, your information is transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those of your country. By using the Service, you understand that your information will be transferred to and stored in the United States.

## 10. Children [#children]

The Service is only for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 years old, or under the age of majority where they live if that is higher. If we learn that a minor has created an account, we will close it and delete their information. If you believe a minor has given us personal information, please contact us at [contact@streaminz.io](mailto:contact@streaminz.io).

## 11. Broadcasters and other people in broadcasts [#broadcasters]

The archive contains broadcasts that were made publicly available on the Platforms, together with public channel information. These may include personal information of broadcasters and of other people who appear in or are mentioned in broadcasts. We process this information to operate the archive, based on our legitimate interest and our users’ interest in watching publicly broadcast content, and to the extent permitted by law.

If you are a broadcaster or appear in a broadcast, you may ask us to remove a VOD, stop archiving a channel, or exercise your other rights by contacting us at [contact@streaminz.io](mailto:contact@streaminz.io). Please tell us which channel or content your request concerns. We will review it promptly and, where appropriate, remove the content and stop further recording.

## 12. Changes to this Privacy Policy [#changes]

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version with its effective date and a summary of the changes, and announce it in the Service at least 7 days before it takes effect, or at least 30 days before if the change materially affects your rights, in which case we will also notify you by email or in-app notification. Where the law requires your consent to a change, we will ask for it.

Upcoming and previous versions are available in the [version history](#version-history).

## 13. Contact us [#contact]

If you have questions, requests, or complaints about this Privacy Policy or our handling of personal information, contact us at [contact@streaminz.io](mailto:contact@streaminz.io) or through the support center in the Service.

## 14. Regional disclosures [#regional-disclosures]

### European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland

We process personal information on the following legal bases:

- **Contract:** to provide the Service, manage your account, and process payments.
- **Legitimate interests:** to keep the Service safe, prevent abuse, improve the Service, operate the archive of public broadcasts, and communicate with you about the Service. We balance these interests against your rights, and you may object.
- **Consent:** for optional features such as push notifications. You may withdraw consent at any time.
- **Legal obligation:** to keep records and respond to lawful requests.

We respond to requests within one month, which we may extend by two further months for complex requests. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority where you live or work, or where an alleged infringement occurred.

### United States

If you live in a U.S. state with a consumer privacy law, such as California, you have the rights described in “Your rights and choices,” including the rights to know, access, correct, and delete your personal information. In the past 12 months, we collected the categories of personal information described in “Information we collect”: identifiers, commercial information, internet or other electronic network activity, approximate geolocation, and user content, from the sources and for the purposes described above, and disclosed them for business purposes to the categories of recipients described in “How we share information.” We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that would give you a right to limit it. We honor Global Privacy Control signals as opt-out requests where the law requires.
