A highlight combines several segments, from one VOD or several VODs of the same channel, into one video. Highlights appear on the channel's **Highlights** tab and are free for anyone to watch.

## Create a highlight

1. **Open the editor**

    On a VOD, select **Highlight**.

2. **Add segments**

    Move the playhead and select **Add segment at playhead**, or press <kbd>I</kbd> to set a start point and mark its end. Use **Split at playhead** to cut a segment in two, and **Remove segment** to drop one. Segments can't overlap.

3. **Add more VODs (optional)**

    Add other VODs from the same channel as sources. Their segments play in the order the sources are listed; reorder them with **Move up** and **Move down**.

4. **Preview**

    Turn on **Play segments only** to watch the result as it will be cut.

5. **Name it and create**

    Enter a title and select **Create highlight**. Processing continues if you close the page.

## Limits

- A highlight can combine a limited number of source VODs, and every source must come from the same channel.
- Each segment has a minimum length.
- The total length is capped relative to the length of the source VODs, and each VOD has a limit on how many highlights one account can make from it.

The editor shows the running total and how many highlights you have left for the video. Unlike clips, highlights have no daily limit.

## Save and load projects

Select **Save project** to keep your segments in a LosslessCut project (`.llc`) file. In browsers that support it, the file keeps updating as you edit. Select **Open project** to load segments from an `.llc` file, including one made in LosslessCut itself.

## Rename or delete a highlight

- **Rename**: highlights created within the last 12 hours can be renamed from their menu with **Edit title**.
- **Delete**: open the highlight's menu and select **Delete**. Deleted highlights can't be restored.
