## Report a video or comment

1. Open the menu on the video or comment and select **Report**.
2. Choose a reason and add details if they help.
3. Select **Report**.

You can report each video or comment once.

### Report reasons

- I just don't like it
- Child abuse or exploitation
- Violent or repulsive content
- Sale or promotion of illegal goods
- Illegal adult content
- Personal data exposure
- Promotion of terrorism
- Scam or spam
- Copyright infringement
- It's not illegal, but it must be taken down
- Other

## Track your reports

Open **Reports** in the sidebar to see everything you've reported and its status:

| Status | Meaning |
| --- | --- |
| **Submitted** | Received and waiting for review. |
| **Under review** | The team is looking at it. |
| **Resolved** | Action was taken. |
| **Rejected** | No action was needed. |

You get a notification when a report is handled.

## What happens after a report

The team may remove or restrict content, stop archiving a channel, limit features such as commenting or reporting, or suspend accounts. False or abusive reports can restrict your ability to report. See [Reports, moderation, and enforcement](/legal/terms-of-service#moderation).
