description: Add a broadcaster's channel to Streaminz by its URL or platform ID so its broadcasts start being archived.

If a broadcaster isn't on Streaminz yet, you can add their channel. Once added, Streaminz starts checking it for live broadcasts and records them.

## Add a channel

1. Select **Create channel** in the top bar, or search for the channel and select **Add it** under **Can't find the channel you want?**
2. Choose how to identify the channel:
   - **URL**: paste the channel's address, for example `https://www.twitch.tv/name`.
   - **ID**: select the platform and enter the channel ID.
3. Select **Create channel**.

Streaminz looks the channel up on the platform. If it can't be found, check the URL or ID and try again.

## Supported URLs

| Platform | Channel URL format |
| --- | --- |
| Twitch | `twitch.tv/<id>` |
| Kick | `kick.com/<id>` |
| CHZZK | `chzzk.naver.com/<id>` |
| SOOP | `sooplive.com/station/<id>` or `sooplive.co.kr/station/<id>` |
| PandaLive | `pandalive.co.kr/channel/<id>` |

## Things to know

- Adding a channel requires signing in, and some accounts may not have permission to create channels.
- Recording starts with the next live broadcast. Past broadcasts from before the channel was added are not available.
- Adding a channel doesn't make you its owner or give you any rights in its content.
- Broadcasters can ask us to stop archiving their channel. See [Contact and requests](/reference/contact).
