## Subscribe to a plan

1. **Choose a plan and cycle**

    Open the [pricing page](https://streaminz.io/pricing) or **Dashboard** > **Billing and subscription**, pick a billing cycle (monthly, quarterly, or yearly), and select **Get started** on a plan.

2. **Add a card**

    The first time you subscribe, you're taken to Stripe to register a card. Streaminz never sees your full card number.

3. **Confirm**

    Review the amount and confirm. Your plan starts right away. If you have [credits](/billing/credits-and-redeem-codes), they are applied first and only the rest is charged to your card.

You get a receipt by email for every payment.

## Automatic renewal

Your plan renews at the end of each billing cycle and your card is charged the then-current price until you cancel. Add-ons renew monthly.

- **Quarterly and yearly plans**: we always email you before renewal.
- **Other renewals**: turn on **Remind me before billing** to get an email a few days before each charge.

## Your subscription status

| Status | Meaning |
| --- | --- |
| **Active** | Your plan is running and renews automatically. |
| **Payment failed** | The last charge failed. We retry during a grace period, and you keep your benefits meanwhile. See [Payment methods](/billing/payment-methods#failed-payments). |
| **Canceled** | Renewal is off. Benefits continue until the end of the cycle, and you can resume before then. |
| **Expired** | The plan has ended and its benefits, including boosts, have stopped. |

## Price changes

If we raise the price of your plan or add-on, we tell you at least 30 days in advance. The new price applies from your first renewal after that, and you can cancel before it.
